Gustavo Guerrero was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He obtained a Law Degree from La Universidad Rafael Urdaneta in 2011, where he graduated Cum Laude. While finishing his law degree in Venezuela, Gustavo also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration from Atlantis University.
In 2013, Gustavo moved to Spain to complete an L.L.M in International Law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho & Economia (ISDE). After completing his Master’s Degree, Gustavo moved to the United States to work in an entertainment law firm in Miami, researching copyright and trademark issues. This was Gustavo's first exposure to the laws of the United States.
Decided to become a U.S. attorney, Gustavo enrolled at Florida State University to pursue a second Master’s Degree in American Law, graduating with honors (Cum Laude). Gustavo won a scholarship at Florida State University to complete the Juris Doctor Degree. For the next two years, Gustavo became a member of various legal organizations such as Advocates for Immigrants and Refugee Rights, International Law Student Association, and ABA Young Lawyers Division. More importantly, Gustavo became the Vice Magister of Phi Delta. Phi Legal Honor Society, the oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the United States, with distinguished members such as President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Justice Scalia, to name a few.
After passing the Florida Bar, Gustavo started practicing Personal Injury law.
